Terms and Conditions

Shipping And Handling
Delivery to any address on the UK mainland is free - whatever you choose to order. Details on shipping charges for elsewhere in the world are available from our Call Centre.
We offer a special service with our ride on Tractor mowers. We can have them filled with petrol, oil, fully set up and delivered ready to basically ride off the van. The cost of this service is £88, we find many customers prefer this service as setting the mower up can prove tricky for someone not familiar with that sort of mower.

Delivery
We begin processing orders at 8 am every morning. You wil receive an email when you place your order, and also when we process your details and ship your order (normally between the hours of 8-10 am GMT). In most circumstances all items will be delivered the next working day, but please allow up to 3 working days for delivery. If you require the special Tractor Mower set-up service, please allow 4-5 working days.

Back Orders
If any part of your order is not in stock, we will telephone or email you to discuss your options. Cancelling your order, waiting (normally 7 days) or discussing an alternative with our specialist staff will all be offered.

Tax
All prices are inclusive of VAT (17.5 % Value Added Tax)

Credit Card Security
All orders are processed over a secure Internet connection and all billing details are deleted from all systems after processing your order, so your peace of mind can be assured.

Guarantee
To guarantee your satisfaction we only supply the best machinery from the most established manufacturers in the industry. All products are covered by the manufacturers warranty, 1 year unless otherwise stated. If a problem arises with any of your products within this timeframe the manufacturer will be happy to examine your product for you. If they believe the problem to be due to misuse or neglect of the product rather than a manufacturing fault, they are likely to refuse to carry out repairs free of charge. If this is the case, the customer or their agent will not hold The Lawnmower Company Direct responsible as the warranty is held with the manufacturer. The shipping to and from the manufacturer may be the customers responsibility, this differs from manufacturer. We will provide you with any manufacturers Service Hotline numbers should you require them. The terms and conditions under which we supply goods to you do not in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information that we collect is used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not disclose any information to third parties. Any queries on this please call or email us.

Returns Policy
In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations, any product, excluding pre-assembled items such as tractors, may be returned unused in its original packing within 7 days of delivery for whatever reason. The cost of delivery is however the liability of the customer unless the item is defective or received in error.
